Who we are

Inverness Roofing (invernessroofing.com) is a roofing lead generation service for Citrus County, Florida. All roofing work arranged through this site is performed by GenX Roofing LLC, Florida Certified Roofing Contractor CCC1333347.

That means when you send an enquiry here, your details are passed to that contractor so they can carry out the work. We say so plainly because it is the point of the site, not a footnote.

Information we collect

We collect what you give us. If you submit the estimate form that is typically your name, phone number, email address, property address or town, and whatever you tell us about the roof. If you call, we collect your phone number and what you tell us on the call.

We also collect limited technical information automatically, as almost every website does: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you viewed, and the page or search that sent you here. We use this to understand which pages are useful, not to identify you personally.

We do not ask for and do not want payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or any other sensitive identifier through this site.

Calls, recording and text messages

The phone number on this site is a tracking number. Calls to it are connected to the roofing contractor, and the call may be recorded, transcribed and stored so we can confirm the enquiry, check quality, and train the people and systems that answer.

Florida is a two-party consent state. If a call is being recorded you will be told at the start of the call, and you can ask not to be recorded or hang up and call the contractor directly on their own published number.

If you give us a mobile number we may text you about your enquiry. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Message and data rates may apply, and consenting to texts is never a condition of getting an estimate.

How we use your information

We use it to respond to your enquiry, arrange an inspection or estimate, carry out work you ask for, and follow up about that work. We may contact you afterward about roofing services, and every such message includes a way to opt out.

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. We do not sell it to other roofers, contractors, or lead brokers.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry is shared with GenX Roofing LLC, Florida Certified Roofing Contractor CCC1333347, who performs the work.

We also use service providers who process information on our behalf and only on our instructions: website hosting, our customer relationship management system, call tracking and transcription, and email or text delivery. They are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

We will disclose information if the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.

Cookies and analytics

This site may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working correctly and to measure how it is used, including which pages and search terms lead to enquiries. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings; the site will still work if you do.

Opting out of marketing does not stop us contacting you about an estimate or a job already in progress.

Security

Information sent through this site is transmitted over an encrypted connection. We limit access to enquiry records to the people who need it to do the work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
