Lakefront wind on Tsala Apopka

Hernando sits on the north shore of Lake Tsala Apopka, and despite the name it is a community inside Citrus County, not Hernando County — worth saying, because it confuses insurers, suppliers, and out-of-area contractors regularly. The housing divides between lakefront and near-lake homes with above-average wind exposure and older inland ranches on more sheltered lots. Those are two different roofing problems.
